Incentive day

We took our map testing a few weeks go and it went well but the made it fun for us. They said there will be an incentive for getting higher scores on the map test. The incentive will have free gym game room etc. I pick the open gym and now today we’re having  the incentive. Sorry I don’t wright to much but that it.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness, this word reminds me of thanksgiving. I hurt my cousin the week before thanksgiving and he didn’t forgive me. I felt so bad and evil inside. But it was thanksgiving and he came and he still had the bruise on his arm. I came over to him but he just looked away. So few hours later we tried to play some game and have fun till the thanksgiving dinner. At thanksgiving dinner we ate and it was the same thing he didn’t look at me. I kept on trying to talk to him but he still didn’t. So it was time for the people to leave and I said to my cousin one last time and said goodbye, guess what he said goodbye back. So he forgiven me.

Honesty

Honesty, means to me is to be trustworthy. Be responsible, respectful, just be nice. One time I lied to my mom about something serious that happen to me and I wasn’t honest. It was along time so I don’t remember that much. My brother and cousin started a fire once in our back yard and it burned me on the arm. It didn’t hurt at that time but it then hit me. There was a scar on my arm and didn’t want to show my mom it because it will get my cousin and brother in trouble. At that time I thought that it was wrong to tell on my brother and cousin. So a few weeks later I still had the scar on my arm. I thought it will go away but it didn’t. One day I woke up and there was a sharp pain in my arm. I made the choice to tell my mom about the fire and the scar. I still remember what my mom said after she put a ice pack on my arm. “ why didn’t you tell me this could’ve been much worse”. At the moment I knew I had to be honest. That what honesty means to me.

Map testing

map testing is hard for some people, but for me it’s easy. I kinda like it. I went up on math and reading and language arts. Math I only went up two so that’s good. I went up seven on reading and nine in language arts. But anyways it was good overall. Map stands for Measure of Academics and  Processes. That’s what map testing means to me.

Slice of life p2

My slice of life is when I got my Xbox one s for Christmas. It was one month before Christmas and I went to my cousin house and started playing on his xbox. I thought I really want a Xbox. When we were gone from the house we went home and I said to my mom “. Can I get the Xbox one s”. Oh boy she said no. So for the next one one month I tried to persuade my mom to get me this console. It was the day of Christmas and I woke up so excited to see if my mom give me it. Next thing I knew I was playing call of duty on my Xbox one s.

Super villain

In a town where crime is always happening, villains rise to trash the city of San Juan. After Hurricane Maria hit the island of Puerto Rico no one can help stop all the bad guys or rid the streets of crime. One villain stood above the rest.  His  name was Mr. Two Brain.  Here are some of his features,  he is an alien from the planet Bleefnorff and he has two brains which means he has superior intelligence. He also has a pet dinosaur . Life was good for Mr. Two Brain, robbing banks, stealing money, being bad.  But after the storm things change completely. One day he was talking to his minion and his minion said” maybe we can try being good for once because of all of the crime going around San Juan”. “Never never, I will never be good” said Mr. Two Brain. Later that night Mr. Two Brain thought about what his minion said. “Maybe I can try to be good and not bad”. The next day he let this minion go and went into the city to help out. 8 days later he got arrested by the police because his minion reported him to the cops. A few weeks later San Juan was restored and Mr. Two Brain sat In jail thinking Long and hard about the difference of being good and bad. The end 

scary story.

My dad had a toy that was creepy and for Christmas he gave me it and I knew about it so it wasn’t really a Christmas present but I just thought he didn’t want it any more. It was a G I JOE doll and it’s face had marks and scratches on it body. It was a great toy though, I played with it. I kepped it in on my shelf and one night. I had a midnight snack back then but not anymore. I went back to the room and went to grab the doll, but it wasn’t there. I imagined that it fell of and landed on the floor but it didn’t. It was gone. The next morning I got a new doll and it was better. My dad burned the other one. I new that doll was creepy.

Quarter goals

My quarter goals are 3 books per month. It seems that I read a lot of big Nate’s books so that helps me. Big Nate’s seeed to be my weakness in books because I can just keep reading them. But anyways I read other graphic novels like dog man captain underpants, etc. My favorite novel are mostly graphic novels and realistic fiction. So as I said I Like graphic novels. That went another way from 2nd quarter goal to graphic novels, that’s are my second quarters goals.

Two brothers one cat.

Once upon a time there was two brothers in a small town in Britain 1976.The two brothers just finished with their shifts at the pawnshop. There was a storm coming. One brother was tall and skinny and the other one was short and stubby. The first one was named John and the other one named bill. Bill was not the friendly type. John was nice and funny, he liked to play around. Bill had a cat, it was one of those cats that are skinny and have no hair. John wanted a cat two like his brother but he couldn’t afford it. So one night in the pawnshop and John asked bill how mush his cat was. “About 10.00 pounds” . That’s not much John said but it I might not have the money. “Ok I have to go now “bill said “goodnight”. Now that John was all alone he was thinking if I can’t buy a cat maybe a can steal one from the pet store. He knew it was a bad idea but he wanted to be like his brother, so he made a plan. “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh“ BOOM!!! Johns idea was to break down the door with his body but he failed at that. So it was time to go into plan B. Steal his brother cat. The next day John didn’t go to work so he can put plan B into action. John grabed his ski mask ,his ladder ,and his phone. That night he went to bills house and put the ladde to his window and open the window and guess what the cat was right there on the window cell. John thought it was easy from here but guess again the cat woke up and scratch John in the face and he fell back on the ladder and landed on his car and you know the best thing about this, I didn’t get stollen.

gratitude

Gratitude is a simple way to say thank you to somebody. I give gratitude to my mom because she drives me to school and back. If she did not drive me to school I have to walk in the cold and get up early because it will take about 10 minutes to get to school. There others things that my mom gives me to show her gratitude. Like give me food everyday after school. She gives up her time for my brother and me. That’s the majority of the gratitude that my mom gives me.

Favorite animal

My favorite animal is a bat. Bat are very smart animals, but they only slept in the daytime. They do this because there nocturne. The really cool thing about bats that they are blind and they only fly in the dark so how do they navigate. Bats makes noises that thens bounces off objects then sounding it back to the bat so it knows that there’s something in the way. Bats mostly eat insects but vampire bats eat birds, mice, and fruits.Thats why a bat is my favorite animal. I used this

Favorite country

My favorite country is Brazil. It is a very beautiful place. It’s a ten hour flight from here to Brazil. It has 207.7 million people and counting. Rio de Janeiro in Brazil  is symbolized by its 38m Christ the Redeemer statue on top Mount Corcovado.  It one of my favorite country’s because it feels like Puerto Rico. That was my favorite country I used this, Brazil

Happiest day ever

Going to Puerto Rico. It was early in the morning and everybody was up and in the car. Once in the airport we got on the plane and head to,Puerto Rico. It very nice place but with hurricane Maria hitting Puerto Rico it make me sad but when I was there it was fine and I spent the next two weeks in Puerto Rico and were great. That was my happiest day/weeks every.

Greatest achievement

My greatest achievement is when I rode the Goliath in six flags great America. It was September 17 2015 and I was in the line of the Goliath, I was very nervous. It was like the butterfly’s in my stomach got out and now their eggs are only in me. I was second to the front and a was about to poop my pants. (I know that you think that I’m a baby or a scardey cat, but what you don’t understand it was a 90 degree drop and it was high). I was all buckled in and ready to go the first drop I almost passed out. After that it was amazing and that was my greatest achievement.

Book review

“Welcome to dork city” is a big Nate book that about Nate joining the coolest kid is school group. The group leader says” don’t talk to those losers (Nate’s best friends). But it was a better ending because he left the bully and went with his true.

Singer or writer

I would be a singer because I dont like to write and it seems to long but with sing you can make a song within weeks. So it seems to long to write and to sing is good. I konw this is so short short blog so thank you for listening.

Best food ever

Rice and beans. This is one,of the most common Puerto Rican food and it taste great. You can also add other condiments. The beans make you fart and are good for you and the rice is grains so that’s also good for you. Most of this is great and all,but the best thing about rice and beans the flavor it so good.  That my reasoning about this food rice and beans.

News this week

this past Sunday was a very sad night for many people.las Vegas one of the scariest nights of my life people said once. It was a normal night with a concert in las vagas when suddenly load gunshots were heard, people were falling to the ground when everyone knew that somebody was shooting. The next day, the news and the social media were crazy about it who was the man who was the shooter.

That was the end of my blog.

Free wright

This is my free Wright that means that I can wright any thing I want and I’m going to wright about free wright. Free wright is when you can wright any thing you want. You can wright about planes , trains, and cars. Anything you want, one of the thing that I once wrote was about the wright brothers. The first people to make a plane and fly it too. That was my free wright about a free wright.

If I were president

If I were president the first thing I would do is stop the cook county tax and try my best to change the world and I know that I can’t but I said I’ll try. The second thing is kiss a baby’s head. The third thing is give most of the taxes to the police and fighter. This may not be a bad thing because we will have to increase the taxes so that means that many people will hate me then but then I will increase their taxes back when they get it back. And this is the story if I were president.

My slice of life.

One time in my life my family and I went to Puerto Rico for the second time. It was our vacation but we had our grandparents 60th anaversity and it was only a sliver if my life but it was the greatest. It means a lot to me because if they weren’t married they could have my aunts and uncles and without my mom there wouldn’t be me. So it means a lot and I would change anything for it. Beside after that my family stayed one more week after that.

is an organization that help people get together  and change the world. We had assembly in our school and Russell one of the we members and he talk  about how you can save many kids around the world by donating a few dollars to this organization.

This will very much help many people around the world to get clean water and nice food to eat.

             16 years ago a bad thing happen

By Bryan santana.    September 11 2001 was a normal day like any other in downtown manhattan. 

People were going to work, kids going to school and baby's getting taken to daycare. 

It was normal until a plane hit the World Trade Center towers, the north tower. It was a shock for many people. The people from the 97th floor and down evacuated but the rest were stuck up there. And you may thing get down the stairs,but no the plane hit 

the stairwell.

Then out of nowhere another plane hit the south tower. That moment everybody knew that this was a terrorist attack. 30 minutes later the first building collapsed. Everyone was in shock as it fell. It wasn't that long till the second tower fell.

These are the people that hijack the planes and took control of them. Two of the planes that were stolen hit the twin towers. And the other two hit the pentagon and the other one the passengers took control and landed in a feild.

hi my name is Bryan santana and I'm in m.s haury and m.s king xl. I was born in a hospital on February 15 2006 at 6:39 pm. My elementary was Irving and now I'm in HMS. I like it here with the classes and the cafeteria. We have this thing called falcon dollars that we get for being good in class. That is very cool It's something so new that it's cool. This has been very fun so far in six grade it is fun and new.

The main character and the bad guy have many similarities and differences, here some of them.
The main character (Tony) and the bad guy (monster of the sea). Tony has brown hair and the sea monster has seaweed for hair. Tony is tall and the sea monster is tall to. Tony has can fight and the sea monster cannot. Last one that Tony has friends and the sea monster has army.

How would technology or the lack of technology change the outcome of the story?

The outcome of the Great Chicago Fire would definitely be different if there was technology back in 1871. If there were phones someone would had called 911 right away. The firefighters would have come sooner to put out the fire if the call would have gone through. People would have seen the news on tv and know where was the danger was and 300 people wouldn't die. If there were working sprinklers systems many of the buildings would have not burned down.

Ruby bridges

DANGEROUS COLORED KID IN ONLY              WHITE SCHOOL

6 year old Ruby Bridges walks in a only white school with US Navy marshals. Parents yell at ruby when she walks in the school. Poor little ruby walks in bravely with out a doubt. Now we speack with                                                      
The principal of this school to see how she feels. " hello I'm the principal here at this non white school , apparently". At this white school we have new rules that come from the president of the United States. Segregation was abolished now we have a colored African American in our school that I think is a bad idea. You say that she had horrible grades because she only had one teacher. That is correct. Well thank you for your time. Here you are folks a African American little girl who went in a all white school.

Was the author's purpose to persuade, inform or entertain? How do you know?

The author of Diary of A Wimpy Kid, Roderick Rules purpose was for entertain. I know that  because in every page of the book there is something new . There are  people with funny faces and heads. Jeff Kenny has many talents but one of his most popular one is his creativity.  His creativity made it possible to write all 12 books in the series of Diary of A Wimpy Kid that we read today.

Retell the three events that you think are the most important events  in the story.

My book is Diary of A Wimpy Kid, Roderick Rules and these are the three main parts of this story. The first one is when Greg has to keep the house clean but Roderick has a big party when Greg is in the bathroom. The second one is when Roderick has to pick up Greg from swim class and Greg has to  sit in the back of his van with no seatbelt or not even a seat! The third and final one is when Greg and Roderick's mom and dad come home to destroyed house. These are the three main parts that I think that are the most important.

Compare and contrast yourself to one of the characters in your text.

The main character Tony and  I are similar in that we are both leaders. He led his friends into the forest to find his dog even though he did not know what to expect. When I'm with  my  friends I also take the lead and help solve a problem we may have. On then other hand, Tony was very stubborn and I am not. He would not listen to his friend Daniel's idea on how to get out of the forest. When I'm with my friends i give them a chance to say their opinions and suggestions.

If you got locked in library for 24 hours, what will you do for the for the time you were there?

If i got locked in a library for 24 hours is first find a base to sleep in and stay. Then i will get some books, so i can read. Next i will find a cart and ride around the place. When its midnight i will get my base all comfortable and ready to settle in. Ill got to the bathroom and do my business. After the bathroom break i will go in to my base a and sleep the night.

Well in my story the main character is tom. So when he gets a toy car from a garage sale. He went home and showed it to his best friend jimmy. He let jimmy rode it for a little while. But just then jimmy got out and kepted his foot on the gas and the car went zooming off. Tom went on and tried to stop it, but his dad came driving down when he saw him he crashed into a pole !!!

If I met my main character I would be scared because my character is a ghost.
It's scary because if I saw a ghost I'll be creeped out not happy.
Ghost are not real but it's crazy if you see it in real life.
Ghost are not scary to me but to someone else that just plain scary.
That why if I  saw my character in real life I'll run.
