Name the similarities and differences of the main character and the bad guy.

The main character and the bad guy have many similarities and differences, here some of them.
The main character (Tony) and the bad guy (monster of the sea). Tony has brown hair and the sea monster has seaweed for hair. Tony is tall and the sea monster is tall to. Tony has can fight and the sea monster cannot. Last one that Tony has friends and the sea monster has army.

How would technology or the lack of technology change the outcome of the story?

The outcome of the Great Chicago Fire would definitely be different if there was technology back in 1871. If there were phones someone would had called 911 right away. The firefighters would have come sooner to put out the fire if the call would have gone through. People would have seen the news on tv and know where was the danger was and 300 people wouldn't die. If there were working sprinklers systems many of the buildings would have not burned down.

Ruby bridges

DANGEROUS COLORED KID IN ONLY              WHITE SCHOOL

6 year old Ruby Bridges walks in a only white school with US Navy marshals. Parents yell at ruby when she walks in the school. Poor little ruby walks in bravely with out a doubt. Now we speack with                                                      
The principal of this school to see how she feels. " hello I'm the principal here at this non white school , apparently". At this white school we have new rules that come from the president of the United States. Segregation was abolished now we have a colored African American in our school that I think is a bad idea. You say that she had horrible grades because she only had one teacher. That is correct. Well thank you for your time. Here you are folks a African American little girl who went in a all white school.

Was the author's purpose to persuade, inform or entertain? How do you know?

The author of Diary of A Wimpy Kid, Roderick Rules purpose was for entertain. I know that  because in every page of the book there is something new . There are  people with funny faces and heads. Jeff Kenny has many talents but one of his most popular one is his creativity.  His creativity made it possible to write all 12 books in the series of Diary of A Wimpy Kid that we read today.

Retell the three events that you think are the most important events  in the story.

My book is Diary of A Wimpy Kid, Roderick Rules and these are the three main parts of this story. The first one is when Greg has to keep the house clean but Roderick has a big party when Greg is in the bathroom. The second one is when Roderick has to pick up Greg from swim class and Greg has to  sit in the back of his van with no seatbelt or not even a seat! The third and final one is when Greg and Roderick's mom and dad come home to destroyed house. These are the three main parts that I think that are the most important.

Compare and contrast yourself to one of the characters in your text.

The main character Tony and  I are similar in that we are both leaders. He led his friends into the forest to find his dog even though he did not know what to expect. When I'm with  my  friends I also take the lead and help solve a problem we may have. On then other hand, Tony was very stubborn and I am not. He would not listen to his friend Daniel's idea on how to get out of the forest. When I'm with my friends i give them a chance to say their opinions and suggestions.
